Happy Valentine’s Day :-) – Preview it on Path.

A friendly reminder for everyone over this long holiday weekend. Embrace the opportunity to hold close those that matter most. And, savor those little nothing moments that are really so much bigger than that.
Cheers and happy holidays, everyone!

You are the creation of everyone you have ever met, and everyone you have never met. Everything you did, you did because of them. Everything good, and everything bad. You are the least responsible for your success and failure. So just, do.

Thirty. Not just a number.

An interesting thing happened to me over the past couple weeks, and something that I don’t like to admit.

I ventured over to the dark side.

Do what you actually really give a sh*t about…something you would want to do for the rest of your life. There is no playbook to be a founder…to be an entrepreneur. You kind of figure sh*t out as you go along. Don’t worry if you don’t have the answers; don’t worry if you are failing; don’t worry if somebody hits you when you’re down. You just need to do what you love. You HAVE to do what you love. Otherwise, what’s the point. One life. Why spend it on things you don’t really care about!?

Listening to Ronan by Taylor Swift

This deeply heartfelt song was written by Taylor Swift, who was inspired by the story of Ronan, a 3-yr old boy who passed away from cancer.

With 4 similar-aged nephews (and another nephew/niece on the way), plus countless friends and family with children around this age, this song purchase was a no-brainer.

Swift had followed Ronan’s story via his mother’s blog and wrote this song for the family. She credits Ronan’s mother Maya as a co-writer on this song for her strength and words that provided motivation for the lyrics.

FYI: Proceeds for iTunes sales support the Taylor Swift Charitable Fund. And, you get a pretty damn well-written song that has some serious meaning behind it.
